- Dye-sensitized solar cells are fabricated with thermal degraded photoelectrodes.
- Influence of the degraded photoelectrodes on photovoltaic performance is studied.
- Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy is used as a major tool for the study.
- Study shows that open-circuit voltage decreases due to increased recombination.
- Poor charge collection efficiency is responsible for low photocurrent.
