The radiative processes induced by interaction of metastable Cd (53P2) atoms with Ar and Kr atoms

- Cd∗ + Kr, Ar semiempirical potential curves have been calculated.
- Radiative lifetimes of the1(3P2) states have been calculated for the first time.
- Absorption and emission near the forbidden atomic line Cd(51S0-53P2) have been considered.
