Dramatic activity of mixed-phase TiO2 photocatalyst synthesized by hydrothermal method

► Our preparation process is very simple and economy. ► Rutile content is adjustable only by changing the initial concentration of TiCl4. ► The UV light photocatalytic activity of TiO2 (R 19.6%) is near to that of P-25. ► The photocatalytic mechanism of mixed-phase TiO2 was discussed.
