Saturation of intraband absorption in a self-assembled double-quantum-dot molecule

► Parameter-dependent saturation of intraband absorption in dot has been achieved. ► Saturation intensity is found to be 0.7-1.2 MW/cm2 in the range of the parameters. ► Relaxation time has an important impact on the intensity of the absorption peak.
