XAS studies on Cu(II) complexes with derivatives of phenoxyacetic and benzoic acids

► Metal-ligand interactions are studied by X-ray absorption spectroscopy. ► Three complexes with phenoxyacetic and benzoic acids are structurally investigated. ► In all the complexes Cu(II) is coordinated by anionic ligands and water molecules.
