Bondonic characterization of extended nanosystems: Application to graphene's nanoribbons

► Recent bosonian quantum particle, the bondon, is here applied to chemical 1D nanoribbons. ► Long-range interaction naturally appear, opening the door to specific phase transitions. ► Topological invariants effectively replace electronic energy potential function.
