Fabrication, structure, and photocatalytic activities of boron-doped ZnO nanorods hydrothermally grown on CVD diamond film

► Boron doped ZnO NRs on diamond films have been fabricated by hydrothermal technique. ► The first-principles calculations were performed to study the B-doping behaviors. ► B-doped n-ZnO NRs/p-diamond heterojunction show high performance of PL, I-V and photocatalysis.
