Near-ultraviolet inverse photoemission spectroscopy using ultra-low energy electrons

► Inverse photoemission spectroscopy in the near ultraviolet region is shown. ► A near ultraviolet photon detector with high resolution and sensitivity is used. ► Energy of the irradiated electrons is below the damage threshold. ► The method is suitable to determine the electron affinity of organic materials.
