Functionalized electrophoretic deposition of CdSe quantum dots onto TiO2 electrode for photovoltaic application

► Novel functionalized electrophoretic deposition technique for solar cell application. ► Reduced deposition time of 15 min for QD sensitization. ► 30 V is enough for successful electrophoretic deposition. ► We have attained uniform deposition of QDs onto mesoporous TiO2. ► 90% light harvesting efficiency was observed for the CdSe sensitized electrode.
