Metal enhanced fluorescence of Me-ADOTA·Cl dye by silver triangular nanoprisms on a gold film

► Silver triangular nanoprisms were prepared and used to make plasmonic platforms. ► Over 50-fold enhancements on 'hot spot' regions were measured. ► Silver nanoprisms significantly reduced the lifetime of the fluorophore.
