Study of singlet excited state absorption spectrum of lutetium bisphthalocyanine using the femtosecond Z-scan technique

► The excited state absorption of LuPc2 was investigated using femtosecond pulses. ► The RSA effect was observed <640 and >680 nm, while SA occurs in the Q-band. ► The ratio σ1m/σ01 is smaller than 0.05 at the Q-band and ∼4 for the other regions.
