Thermoluminescence in heavily F-doped of SnO2 nanocrystals

► Thermoluminescence evolves in heavily F-doped semiconducting SnO2 nanocrystals. ► This is attributed to the creation of F-centers in the system. ► Analysis of the glow curves yielded a major trap of activation energy 1 eV. ► After UV irradiation for few minutes, generation of deeper traps occurred in SnO2:F.
