Temperature dependence of rotational excitation rate coefficients of C2H− in collision with He

► First collisional study of C2H− anions with He at low temperatures is investigated. ► A new two-dimensional Potential Energy Surface is obtained. ► Rate coefficients were determined for temperature up to 100 K. ► A strong propensity for even ΔN is found.
