Kinetics of the self-reactions of benzyl and o-xylyl radicals studied by cavity ring-down spectroscopy

► Self-reactions of benzyl and o-xylyl radicals were studied experimentally. ► The absorption cross sections and self-reaction rate constants were determined. ► The rate constants showed negative temperature dependence and suggested steric hindrance.
