DFT study of the M segregation on MAu alloys (MÂ =Â Ni, Pd, Pt) in presence of adsorbed oxygen O and O2

► The local surface ordering of MAu bimetallic alloys evolve during gas exposure. ► Under vacuum conditions M tends to migrate into the bulk. ► In presence of adsorbed oxygen, M segregation is evidenced.
