Rapid synthesis of water-soluble gold nanoparticles with control of size and assembly using gas-liquid interfacial discharge plasma

► We synthesize water-soluble of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) by gas-liquid interfacial discharge plasma in association with DNA. ► DNA conjugation on AuNPs makes AuNPs soluble and stable in water. ► Size and assembly of AuNPs can be tuned by DNA type and concentration.
