Ultra fine scale phase separated microstructure for Ag-Fe nanoparticle

► Different particle microstructures develop in Ag-Fe nanoparticles. ► Ultrafine scale phase separated microstructure with Ag and Fe3O4 phases found. ► Ag and Fe3O4 phase volumes were around ∼1 nm in size in atleast one dimension.
