Magnetic and optical properties of Fe doped ZnS nanoparticles synthesized by microemulsion method

► Fe doped ZnS nanoparticles were synthesized in microemulsion. ► The increase of Fe concentration reduces crystallinity. ► The coercivity decreases with the increase of Fe concentration. ► The EXAFS analysis indicated local defect is produced at high dopant concentration.
