Time-resolved laser-induced fluorescence spectroscopy of Nd3+ in molten LiCl-KCl eutectic

► This Letter presents a study of the chemical speciation of Nd-chloride complexes in the molten LiCl-KCl eutectic. ► The laser-induced fluorescence spectra of Nd3+ are shown in the wavelength region of 360-900 nm. ► The coexistence of two different chemical species of Nd3+ in the high temperature molten salt is confirmed.
