Surface properties of conjugated main-chain polyrotaxanes

► AFM contact mode adhesion force imaging analysis of two types of polyrotaxane indicated lower values of the adhesion forces compared to the non-rotaxane ones, attributed both to the interactions of macrocycles with hydrophobic substrate and to their agglomeration tendency on the surface.
