Vibrational spectrum of water confined in and around cyclodextrins

►We study the effects of cyclodextrins on low-frequency vibrational modes of water. ► These bands are blue-shifted due to the presence of the cyclodextrins. ► The extents of the shifts depend on the degree of confinement and hydrogen bonding.
