Oligo(phenyleneethynylene) as a molecular lead for STM measurement of single molecule conductance of a helical peptide

► Single molecule conductance of a helical peptide was estimated by STM. ► The peptide was conjugated with OPE. ► This conjugation make strong coupling with the STM chip possible. ► As a result, an asymmetric I-V curve was clarified.
