Prototype of a scalable core-shell Cu2O/TiO2 solar cell

► TiO2 nanotube membranes are synthesized via two-step anodization. ► The conductivity at the barrier layer is enhanced by NH4Cl treatment. ► Cu2O/TiO2p-n heterojunctions are created through electrodeposition. ► Such system can be a promising candidate of photovoltaics, batteries, etc.
