Photocontrol of chiroptical properties of polydiacetylene carrying azobenzene in the side chain

► Poly(methyl methacrylate) was used as matrix embedded with polydiacetylene. ► Chirality of polymerized azobenzene-substituted diacetylene was induced by circularly polarized UV light in spin-coating film. ► The exact effect of azobenzene chromophores was investigated on chiral formation.
