Electron impact dissociation of N2O and CO2 with single particle detection of O(1D2)

► Single particle detection of O(1D) has been achieved using a novel neon matrix. ► O-fragment kinetic energies have been measured following 100 eV electron impact dissociation of N2O and CO2. ► Possible dissociation channels have been identified.
