A pulsed neutron diffraction study of the topological defects presence in carbon nanohorns

► Pulsed neutrons diffraction provided information about the structure of nanohorns. ► Molecular dynamics modelling allowed revealing topological defects in nanohorns. ► Pulsed neutrons diffraction yielded the pair correlation function of good resolution. ► This procedure will be useful for carbon nanomaterials produced on a mass scale.
