Fabrication of SERS substrate using nanoporous anodic alumina template decorated by silver nanoparticles

► Anodic Alumina Oxide (AAO) template is decorated by silver nanoparticles with various degree of aggregation. ► Aggregation of silver nanoparticles is controlled by varying silver nitrate (SN) only. ► As fabricated substrates show good SERS response.
