Dipole-bound states of the alkali-superhalogen anions: LiBeX3- (XÂ =Â F, Cl, Br)

► The dipole-bound LiBeX3- anions exhibit large VDE values of 539.2-886.5 MeV and considerable stabilities with respect to the neutral hosts. ► The 'size' of the X ligands and partial atomic charges are found to be closely related to the stabilities of such alkali-superhalogen anions.
