Semiclassical WUG corrections to the interaction energy of two coupled dipoles at low temperatures

WUG semiclassical expansion of the density matrix yields quantum corrections in the moderately low-temperature régime, which are found of importance for a few heteropolar diatomic molecules and radicals.
