Infrared and electronic spectra of microhydrated para-dichlorobenzene cluster cations

The geometric and electronic structure of microhydrated para-dichlorobenzene cations are determined by IR and electronic spectra of pDCB+(H2O)n. These clusters are found to be unreactive with respect to nucleophilic substitution in the investigated size range n < 3.
