Inhomogeneity in the drying process of gelatin film formation: NMR microscopy and relaxation study

The observation of gelatin film formation in real-time by using an NMR sensor reveals heterogeneities in the drying process. Strikingly the final product (dry film) appears to be homogeneous. The figure shows the drying profiles during the film formation during 15 h.
