Size-dependent hysteresis in the formation and decomposition of hydride in metal nanoparticles

To characterize the hysteresis in isotherms of H absorption in Pd nanoparticles, we use logarithm of the ratio of the H2 pressures corresponding to absorption and desorption. The insert shows a snapshot of nanoparticles.
