Laser induced fluorescence spectroscopy of iridium monophosphide

► New molecule IrP has been produced using laser-ablated Ir atom and PH3 gas. ► Five electronic transitions have been observed and analyzed. ► Molecular constants of the upper and lower states were determined. ► Bond length of IrP was determined.
