PLP-LIF study of the reactions of chlorine atoms with C2H2, C2H4, and C3H6 in 2-100Â Torr of N2 diluent at 295Â K

► PLP-LIF technique was applied to the title reactions for the first time. ► Pressure-dependent absolute rate constants of the title reactions were determined. ► Obtained rate constants are in good agreement with those from relative rate studies. ► Importance of decoupling of decay and regeneration of Cl in PLP-RF is found.
