IR and Raman spectroscopy study of YAG nanoceramics

► For Y3Al5O12 nanoceramics, the FT-IR and Raman spectra were described. ► No phase decomposition nor grain growth were observed during sintering process. ► Slight changes in vibrational spectra were registered for samples sintered at high pressures. ► Partial amorphization of nanoceramics was suggested.
