Interplay between cation-π and hydrogen bonding interactions: Are non-additivity effects additive?

The interplay between two important noncovalent interactions has been studied by means of ab initio calculations. We have found interesting non-additivity effects between the cation-π and the hydrogen bonding interactions. Curiously, we demonstrate that these non-additivity effects are additive.
