Electronic transitions of neutral and anionic quinolinone HIV-1 integrase inhibitor: Joint theory/experiment investigation

The structures and electronic spectra of a HIV-1 integrase inhibitor (quinolinone diketoacid) are investigated experimentally and theoretically. The modifications of spectral features as a function of the pH are rationalized.
