Low temperature synthesis of fibres composed of carbon-nickel nanoparticles in super-critical carbon dioxide

Fibres composed of carbon-nickel nanoparticles are produced via self-assembly at low temperature in super-critical carbon dioxide subjected to a dc electric field. Furthermore, crystallized nickel particles are captured by carbon particles by irradiating the fibres with electron beams.
