Imidazole dimer and its water complexes formed in superfluid helium nanodroplets: Infrared spectroscopic studies of free OH vibrational stretching modes

Almost equal population of the two imidazole dimer-water complexes can be ascribed to their almost identical relative energies and to the equal widths of the entrance funnel where a water molecule can be trapped by the long range potential energy surface.
