Simple solvothermal route to synthesize S-doped ZnO nanonails and ZnS/ZnO core/shell nanorods

S-doped ZnO exhibiting intense green light emission property at room temperature has been synthesized by a simple solvothermal route. By tailoring the sulfur source concentration ZnS/ZnO core/shell nanorods could be synthesized by the same technique.
