The geometric and magnetic properties of the endohedral plumbaspherene M@Pb12 clusters (MÂ =Â Sc, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni)

Theoretical study shows M@Pb12 possess tunable magnetic properties by doping different transition-metal atoms into Pb12 cage and would have potential utility in new nanomaterials.
