Electron solvation by clustered H-bond complexes of water with tri-n-butylphosphate

Electron solvation by HOH···OP(OR)3 complexes in tributyl phosphate-water mixtures provides a condensed-matter analog of small, internally trapping water cluster anions in the gas phase and accounts for the decreased rate of dissociative electron attachment to the solvent.
