Study on the excited state intramolecular proton transfer of 4′-N,N-diethylamino-3-hydroxyflavone in imidazolium-based room temperature ionic liquids

Upon photo-excitation of 4′-N,N-diethylamino-3-hydroxyflavone, dual emission from the normal and tautomer forms were observed. By time resolved fluorescent measurements, the solvation dynamics and proton transfer kinetics in the excited state were observed in room temperature ionic liquids.
