Assessment of approximate quantum chemical methods for calculating the interaction energy of nucleic acid bases with graphene and carbon nanotubes

The PM3 method, with dispersive corrections, is shown to accurately predict the interaction energy of nucleic acid bases with graphene and carbon nanotubes.
