Metal hexacyanochromate coordination nanopolymers: Surface ligand effect on their magnetism

The number of the alkyl ligands, L (L = stearylamine, 4-(dioctadecylamino)pyridine), coordinating to the surface of nanometric metal hexacyanochromate coordination polymers Cr-CN-M (M = Ni, Fe) is dependent on the L used, and dominates the magnetic properties relating to the differences in interparticle interaction, crystal system and morphology.
