Freezing of water adsorbed on hydrophobic and activated soot particles

Dynamics of water adsorbed on aviation-kerosene flame soot studied by quasi-elastic neutron scattering. Temperatures correspond to tropospheric conditions where aircraft soot particles can act as cloud condensation nuclei.
