Photodissociation dynamics of benzenesulfonic acid at 266Â nm: OH detection by laser-induced fluorescence

The photolysis of benzenesulfonic acid (BSA) at 266 nm was investigated by probing the OH fragment using the single-photon laser-induced fluorescence technique. The important OH product may dominantly occur on the T2 state, generated mostly via intersystem crossing from the initially excited S1 state.
