Multiple excitons and the electron-phonon bottleneck in semiconductor quantum dots: An ab initio perspective

The photoexcited state dynamics in PbSe and CdSe quantum dots are analyzed by ab initio time- and energy-domain techniques, with the focus on multiple excitons and electron-phonon relaxation.
