Critical fluctuations and noncritical relaxations of the nitrobenzene-isooctane system near its consolute point

Frequency normalized ultrasonic attenuation spectrum for the nitrobenzene-isooctane mixture of critical composition. In the measurement range between 20 kHz and 3 GHz the spectrum displays large contributions from critical fluctuations at low frequencies and, in addition, noncritical relaxation terms at high frequencies.
