Dominant role of the interstitial 4d transition-metal in TM@Zr12Z (TM = Y-Cd, Z = 0, ±1) icosahedral cages

One doped 4d transition-metal atom can stabilize the icosahedral Zr12 cage which contains 12 zirconium atoms but is not stable by itself.
